Overview

Our engagement with ZS Associates comprised of three different stages/streams: Branding, UX Design, and Development. We had redesigned their website experience with the intentionality to help attract potential clients and people interested in working at ZS itself. In addition, one of the top most priorities was to create a unified design system and style guide for future designers working internally at ZS to utilize.

Phase 1: Brand Identity

In the first phase, we put together a new branding direction and identity refresh for ZS Associates with the intention of expanding this to all of their verticals which includes their mobile app and marketing website. This included creating brand guidelines for their logomarks, illustrations to use on the site and other verticals as well as developing UI elements of their visual identity which ranged from their typography to atom level components. Creating a more engaging experience with playful interactions and engaging illustrations was one of the biggest goals for the team during this phase.

Phase 2: Brand Guidelines

Another crucial step for the team as well as one of the biggest deliverables on the project was updating the brand guidelines in accordance to the new direction we created. These guidelines included anything from color palettes, iconography, illustration, typography, and photography.

Creating a Dashboard

One of the issues that we wanted to address is when the user lands on the platform, the landing page has no existing or current value besides just displaying how many products we have within the platform. Therefore, we wanted to broach the idea of having a dashboard instead that adjusts based on the user type which we identified in our research rounds. We're currently still ideating but the images below helps capture that effort.

Phase 3: Website Re-Design

The next part of our process focused on re-designing their marketing website starting with re-evaluating their personas, interviewing users, and then from there adjusting the IA based on our findings. The majority of this engagement was allocated towards building out each of the pages according to priority, building out a design system, and animating specific interactions for the development team.

Phase 4: Development

The last stage was focused on working with our developers to build out the site itself on AEM with the ability to flexibly author each component in mind and creating guidelines to help aid their workflow. We created multiple versions of each component with light/dark background in mind.
