Elevating a brand's experience

Our engagement with LogMeIn included a website redesign as well as developing UI elements/patterns to help bolster and add to their visual identity. Some of the core challenges of this website redesign was understanding how to strengthen and bring visibility to their parent brand in comparison to their sub-brands/products as well as understanding how to position them as a remote-first organization.

Bringing everything under one umbrella

With LogMeIn being considered the parent company of a lot of well-known products and platforms, they wanted to bring more visibility and recognition to this as they felt that the current state of their brand presence was that their products had more recognition. By including components that highlighted just this, we were able to emphasize the hierarchy of the organization.

The Work From Anywhere movement

With this taking place even prior to the pandemic in 2020, LogMeIn wanted to position themselves at the forefront of not only enabling other companies to be able to work efficiently from anywhere with their product suite, but to also reflect that in their own company culture.

Creating a Dashboard

One of the issues that we wanted to address is when the user lands on the platform, the landing page has no existing or current value besides just displaying how many products we have within the platform. Therefore, we wanted to broach the idea of having a dashboard instead that adjusts based on the user type which we identified in our research rounds. We're currently still ideating but the images below helps capture that effort.

Creating a flexible design system

In addition to bringing about engaging interactions and playful branding into designs, creating a design system that was flexible to accommodate these considerations at different screen sizes was also top of mind for us.
